it's just a story is my first official computer game am making, I made lots of smaller games for mobiles but my chances with mobile games don't keep ending well since I love realistic graphics and I keep exceeding the basic maximum size for a mobile game, I also find it boring playing such realistic games on mobiles. It's true that the market is rising for mobile games but the truth is mobile games can never replace the good old traditional feel of a game, so I made a strong choice to move towards computer games.
The Story

This game is just a plain background catch-up for the actual game coming up, its just a story final, playing this game would give you an idea of what is going on in the upcoming game.

He was on the floor grunting in pain as his head was fully remembering everything that happened…
(story before level 1)
1932 a few months back just before the incident, there was a city called O (O-region) on earth, it was where the humans with high intellectual abilities stayed, while other parts of the world were way behind in terms of technology and science, they were already far ahead. this kind of community was only allowed and protected by the gov because thanks to such people it was sure that the world would advance soon and that things are tested out on themselves(O) before the world… in O they didn’t have a political power but they obeyed the government, they were like babies, that are not harmed but must obey if they want to enjoy freedom…everything was going so smoothly until human greed saw no limit to the possibilities of science and wanted immortality, the higher ups to be precise wanted that and they demanded that O makes that possible for them…O made a meeting with the top scientist in the city and formed 3 teams that were to look for the solution from 3 different approach, Team gamma was in charge of brain preservation to be able to store and transferred the brain of a person successfully into another body, team beta was in charge of mapping and converting the whole brain into digital form and team alpha was in charge of mutation of the body cells… out of all these team, team alpha task was way more dangerous and risky but they had the best of the best with them so things should have been ok, they had Dr.Dan the best scientist in biology and more, Mr.Dan is a charismatic leader and family man, his about average height, dark light skin color, dark glossy hair, well-trimmed beards, blue eyes, in his late 30s, a body weight of 84 kg, fitted muscles and was always giving off the cold vibe to everyone he works with but a calm and composed man who barely speaks unless needed to. At home he was a totally different person, a man full of joy and love, he feared his daughter the most, she was the only child at the moment but his wife was on the move of bringing the second in, Dr.Dan doesn’t fear threat made to him by higher-ups or anyone, in fact, he wasn’t going to do this whole research, to begin with, if he was still alone like he was in the past but now he has to protect the future his daughter wants and the peace his wife should be getting, as he is a highly valued person in the city his family is enjoying pretty much everything, so that made him take the offer which was if they don’t come up with a possibility the freedom the city has would be reducing each time they fail to meet the demands of the higherup and then outsiders who have been dying to get in can finally get in and explore, destroy, steal things in the place.
…the time of incident ….
It was late night, most of the workers had left, leaving Dr.dan and a few other scientist in the lab, now Dan wasn’t liked by the other colleagues, they are very smart too but they just don’t like the fact that he is on another whole level and that cold attitude of his always gets on their nerves, they all were in the office waiting for the incubation of some chemicals, while that was processing, a group of them were discussing some possible tryouts with cells, organism when Dan over heard a particular hypothesis and immediately interrupted their conversation telling them they can’t do that, they should not try it or think about even bringing those two substances together, doing that would cause chaos on the world , they once again took their pride and felt that he was just trying to make them feel miserable and dumb and indeed did mix those two substances together when he was out for a short while, before he came in the safe lock of the lab was already activated and the people inside could not run out, so he(dan) stood watching them from the door glass as they mutated into creatures and undead…weeks later Dr.dan has been working on a research to find a solution to what happened, the infected or exposed have been contained by the gov, finally dan found the cure one day but that day was the day an outbreak happened, the facility holding the infected had power shortage and lead to the release of some strong creatures that mass infected others, he was in the dark of this because he has been away from the net or home for weeks now, on getting home, he saw the house garage opened and car looking all damaged, he tried not to panic much, he got inside shouting for his wife but no answer, as he moved more in he saw blood stains and slowly he approached a body on the floor, and saw it was his wife, he broke down shaking and lost, he was in too much shock he didn’t notice when he was beaten by the same creature who did that to his wife, he tried to look at the creature but blacked out. Later he woke up but forgot who he was, he was able to survive because he had injected a little amount of the solution in himself for final testing of side effects on humans, and the shock he got from seeing his wife all in blood and dead with their unborn child before he was beaten caused his brain to safe boot, back to an age before he met his wife, he doesn’t remember much of himself anymore not even his name his wife gave him.
Dr. Dan wants to find out what happened, what is going on, and whether he will be able to survive, the world should be destroyed by now or not. help him find out as you know what he doesn’t.

Dan a man in his thirties, woke up in a house he was not familiar with, he stood up grunting in pain as he looked around, trying to make sense of the whole scene before him, it was a modern house with vintage design, now this wasn’t weird for dan as he also loved such idea of house design. in the view to his right, there was a picture hanging above a drawer and an armchair beside it, a little forward after that was another drawer, and to his far left was a standing lamp and single chair seat right in front of a bookshelf that was facing him. dan walked towards the painting and saw a man kissing a woman in it, could not see the man but it was looking pretty good, he looked down at the drawer top and picked up what seemed to be a radio, he plays it and everything sounded normal with the news, he placed it back down as he moved
where is everyone, and how did I even end up here( he thinks in his mind)
dan -hello, anyone home?
As he approach the single seater by the far left in front of the bookshelf and by the standing lamp, he saw a piece of paper on the floor, he picked it up and read it, it says
-(do you believe in the supernatural? I didn’t long before but I do now, cause as am writing this to you, my home is being invaded by them, I just hope we make it out a…)
Great, an amazing incomplete note- said dan in his mind and he continues, supernatural? What exactly happened here and why am I here- he thought in his mind as he began to walk again deeper into the house, he was now getting to a T-junction corridor in the house, and as he got closer suddenly something ran past him fast, he was so shocked that he fell,
-who goes there? Hello? I promise am not a thief…I somehow found myself in this house,
(fuck, I hope that was a human being because I don’t know what else can walk on 2 legs at the moment) he stood up and the electricity was shut down, everywhere became so dark, he has to find a way to see,
-hello? Your light went off, is this an action to scare me? I repeat I am not a thief? He says as he stood right at the T-junction and looked left and right, right was a window few steps away from him facing him, to the left of the right side was a door and to the right of the right side was another drawer with somethings on it, to his left side was a door facing him and another door to the left of the left side, he then turned to the right side and walked towards that place and found a lantern on the drawer, he picked it and lit it up, he continue his exploration to the left side now, the door facing him was locked and he had to go to the door on the left of the left side, he got inside and it was an almost empty room, more like a room of concrete made for laundry or storage purpose, in the room had a door and boxes stacked up against each other right under the vent, he approached the door but the door was locked, he knew the next thing to do which he did and put on the electricity and found a key to open the door on the corridor that lead him to the main sitting room of the house, in this room was a carpet on the floor book shelves on the right and drawers with a picture above on the left, straight ahead was a door leading right, he went towards that door
-hello? He says as he turned right at the door only to be met with another locked door,
(great, is there anything here that makes sense, this place has begun to give me the creeps…where is the dude that ran past me?)
Dan turned back and went to the main sitting room, he began to explore the place, and he found another note and an axe on one of the drawers, he also found a torch light, in the note it said
(we were able to run here and lock the door for now but we don’t think this will hold them because some pass through things, it’s sad I and my team can’t deliver the solution to the headquarters, anyone reading this go and fi…)
-great another incomplete note, why do I even bother reading them, it’s like he does this on purpose or something, he says as he throws the note away and thought about it, (something definitely happened here, from this, it seems like there’s a pandemic or maybe even worse than that, but I better look for someone in this house and get more info)
A few hours later dan was done searching the whole house, he found no one but saw dead bodies, he was able to get some more notes that pointed him to his next journey, he gets the picture now, this is an END TIME, dan finds the key of the main door and goes out to search for a little girl who happens to be the daughter of the man who wrote the notes, he has to find her in other to be able to open the safe where the solution is, the writer did this to make sure his daughter is safe just in case something was to happen to him.

(The scene is the man gets to search for this girl in the school to collect a code from her to open a safe, he finds her and got it but not all of it before she turned into something else.)
2 days later dan arrived at the school, the place was not a place a living would be, the whole school was painted red, abandoned, and spooky, vegetation also grew on the before well-made roads, damaged cars on the road, and destroyed fence, decayed walls, everywhere was messed up,
Dan -wow, do I really have to go in there?
He says to himself as he walks past the opened gate, he looked around as he moved, the whole place was also foggy, he could not see anything more than 10 meters, he heard sounds far to his left, like a monster breathing, but he didn’t stop, he kept his pace and rushed into the school building quietly, as soon as he got in something flew through him, it was a black figure,
Dan -ahhh,
he was scared on the floor already from the push of the figure, quickly he stood up shaking and feeling cold, as he looked at the building, it was creepy, with blood everywhere and damaged items, dan knew he had to find this girl fast before any unwanted danger spikes in, he began to search classes for her, all the classes were so messed up, they all looked like expected, people running from something. after a while of searching, he found her in a locked room which he opened with a key he found earlier
( dan -great I found you, are you ok?
Girl - daddy, am so scared, I thought no one was going to come to get me(in a sobbing voice)
Dan -don’t cry girl but am not your dad, I just came to get a code from you your dad said so
Confusion goes on as she tries to convince him that it’s his daughter his talking to
She began crying from being shocked by such an event
Dan -look am sorry…but I don’t know you, but you are such an amazing and smart little girl and you know that I need that code to save you and the world, so why don’t you give me …hmm,
She stops sobbing (if u can act like your sobbing, for a sobbing sound would be good) and stands up
Girl -ok…but after you make sure am safe and get to your office.
dan -my.. what?
He just sighs and agrees, tired of arguing.
On their way going she began to cough and feel pain in her head,
Dan -we need a way out of this school like a vehicle
Girl -I don’t know if he is still around but he was the one who locked me to hide me, his our maintenance man… arggg!
Dan -what’s wrong!!
Girl -m..y hea..d its so painfulll……ahhhhh…..d..a…dad
Dan -oh shit, let’s go into a class to be safe,
They get into the class, trying to figure out what’s going on, after a while betty just decided to give him the codes
Betty (girl) -just …incase…its…2…1…25…4
She could not finish and began changing into a creature, he had to leave her and run for the car. He was able to escape.
A few hours later while driving through a forest, he was still trying to figure out what happened to that girl, he is aware now that this world is filled up with so many strange things, and from then till now he has been seeing humans seriously injured still walking, even some with no hands,…
Dan -strangely, I don’t even know where am going but it feels right and th…
he was interrupted by a flashback, it was not clear but the voices of a man and a young girl laughing, getting back to his senses the car tumbled, what caused it, was not known…he struggled out of the car that was now sideways on the road, smoke coming from the engine, gasoline on the road, he turned and looked at the car
Dan -oh crap, talking about having bad luck at night,
he goes close to the car again, reaches out to the axe and torch light then went off the road to the forest, as he must not be caught on the road by anything…he put on his torchlight as he goes down the hilly forest, everything was perfect except that it was too perfect, so quiet,
Dan -as expected, the animals here must have been killed, he says as he kept going, (tirkkk) a stick cracking sound from his back, he turned around but it was all clear, just trees, suddenly he was attacked from his left by a human-like thing, he struggled with it and succeeded in hitting its head with the flashlight and pushing it off him to stand up, as he stood up he pointed the light at it and behold…it was a dead human, no eyes, blood all over its face, torn decayed cloths,
Creature -roarrrrrr… it began screaming when dan brought out the axe from his back and cut off its head,
Dan -dead? How is this even possible?
He says as he examines the body, a few minutes later he heard more roars from close by, and continued running downhill, he tripped and rolled hitting trees till he got to an even ground in the forest, quickly without wasting time to enjoy the pain he gets up grunting and limping as he heads towards a small wooden house he found in the woods, getting in there he blocked the door with items and searched for a way out, in the small house, was simply just farming materials and little of mechanical tools, he stepped on a surface that happened to be noisy than the floor, he paused and in a split second, he bent down to check it out. It was indeed a drainage system big enough for a human to enter,
Dan -oh this fucking smells, he says as he quickly goes in…
level3
A day has gone by in the drainage system, dan starving and weak, he keeps crawling and trying to find a way out,
Dan -I didn’t thi nk my graveeee would be a shit pi pe,
he says as he kept on crawling, finally, he finds a way out and fell on the floor from weakness, he grunted as he stood up trying to figure out where he was now, it looks like he is in a sewage system station, a big underground station for managing drainage system,
As he walked again he got a flashback (it was fast and not stable but it was of a lab, another of a pickup truck, a driver and traffic police packed by the road, they seem to be talking to him) his head banging inside as he stumbles trying to keep his legs standing, after a while, the pain went away, he keeps having all this as if he went through memory lost from something,
Dan -why do I keep having all these strange visions? I don’t even know what or who is in these.
He says as he kept exploring the place, it was a big underground station with many tunnels and engines and pipes, the place was also full of blood, abandoned and destroyed, a few minutes later he began hearing a weak call for help and approached it
Injured man -help….help…..help
Dan -are you ok?
Injured man -do I (cough)look ok?
Dan -what happened here?
Injured man-it’s a long story sh(cough)short, we were attacked by strange things have never seen in my life before.
Dan -what can I do to help?
Injured man -pre…ty much nothing, am already at my end(cough) but you can still make it out of here.
Dan -how?
Injured man -take the key on the floor, it’s to the gate I locked, you have to use this key to open the gate,
Dan -oh…now I get it, for others to run away you made yourself the sacrifice…I respect your choice.
Injured man -go quickly, before the outer gates to this sewer are destroyed(cough)
Dan -wait what?...why?
Injured man -we were only able to put down the gates only after some had entered…(cough) a lot more remain at the gates hitting it and increasing in number…go now before its too late…(coughs)
(I would make sure your sacrifice is not in vain) he says in his mind to the man.
He finds his way out of the sewer
level 4
Getting out of the drainage pipe, he found himself close to an industry, with his body still smelling of shit, he walked towards the industry in hope of finding a car or at least people, he got through the gate, it was daytime with a nice warm sun, the industry appears to be working as the engines are on but no one seems to be around,
Dan -I assume they were also taken by surprise as they left everything on,
he says as he kept walking, an hour later of searching around, on his way to enter another building in the industry, he heard a sound and turned fast enough to see only a gun hitting his face which knocked him out, …hours later he woke up to the screaming sound of a man being eaten by many creatures he wasn’t sure what they were, he guessed it was probably the same thing that attacked him in the forest, it was night now, and he knew he had to be careful in not getting seen, he tried standing up and found out he was tied on his legs and hand, he figured it out and loosened them, he found his way to the top of one of the industry building and saw a swamp of zombies just walking aimlessly, he knew he has to find a key pretty fast and he got just enough time for that, thanks to the shit smell on him, about half an hour he found a key, and now has to find out which of the cars is it for, as he tries it, he got spotted and zombies started rushing towards him,
dan -oh god this better be it,
he says as he climbed the last truck and tries the key which luckily opened, quickly he locked the doors and started to kickstart it to work, the zombies already started to hit the glass, which began to crack, he tries the engine again for the sixth time and the truck finally came to live, immediately he floored the acceleration pedal, crushing so many zombies and fully destroying the gate, with some still on the body of the truck, he kept going and hoping they all fall off after a while of turning left and right…he was on his way to his final destination…

2 days later he made it to the city where the office is with the truck barely surviving, with smoke coming from the truck, the road ahead was full of vegetation and abandoned cars, he had no other choice than to park the truck there and continue on foot,
Dan -this has to be the place, I have a familiar feeling that makes it feel right,
he says as he walks down the road, the area was deserted and no living creatures or dead were around, he believes he has sometime before those things come to get him. quickly he searched from building to building looking for a building that seemed familiar, the issue is all of them around this area did feel familiar so he has to just keep looking, after a while, he found the building, he was sure of this one as it felt so right more than the others, he got in,
dan -I don’t even know what am doing, I just know this and that,
he says as he explored the building, he searched the whole office and found the safe, as he enters the room to get the safe he got another flashback, he got a load of flashbacks all at once,…he figured out the truth finally, what he got from this visions helped him realize some things, the end of the story came with him escaping and going with the solution of the crisis happening in the world to the headquarters…we don’t know if he got there safely, to be continued…

What's your biggest challenge in making this game?
my system is my biggest challenge as its hard to wait for 5 hours or more for the game engine I use to do some work depending on the task,
then we have marketing, most of us indie game dev are not very good with marketing our games and it might be a really nice game, I want to be an exception by reaching out and asking for help from you, so I could one day as well teach other indie game dev how I sold my games.
